Why Thiwa Sombat

An Approach Built for Your Life Stage

We teach the way adults actually learn — through discussion, real examples, and enough time to ask the questions that matter.

Designed for 40+

Content and pace calibrated for adults who have existing responsibilities, some financial history, and no patience for oversimplification.

Small, Focused Groups

Sessions are capped at 8 participants so every person gets attention, can ask freely, and learns alongside peers at a similar stage.

Grounded in Thai Context

Tax rules, property law, insurance products, and news sources discussed are all specific to Thailand — not generic Western frameworks.

Sensitive to Health Realities

Our chronic illness program was built with empathy at its centre — financial adjustment is never one-size-fits-all when health is involved.

Experienced Educators

Our facilitators bring both financial credentials and classroom experience — clarity and expertise together, without condescension.

Manageable Schedules

Programs are designed to fit around work and life — no month-long commitments for introductory topics, no overwhelming homework.

Take the First Step

Common Questions

Things People Often Ask

No prior knowledge is required. Our programs are built for people who want to develop practical understanding — not for those who already have it. The Financial News Reading Course is a good entry point if you're uncertain where to start.
Our programs are delivered in English. All written materials, case studies, and handouts are also in English. If you would like to ask questions in Thai during session, our facilitators are able to assist.
All programs are held at our Ari Soi 1 location in Phaya Thai, Bangkok. The space is quiet, comfortable, and within a short walk of the Ari BTS station. We'll confirm the exact room and schedule when you register.
We understand that life doesn't always cooperate with schedules. If you notify us in advance, we'll do our best to provide notes and arrange a brief catch-up. For single-session programs, we can discuss rescheduling options.
Yes. For the longer programs — Rental Income Management and Chronic Illness Financial Adaptation — we offer a two-part payment arrangement. Please mention this when you send your enquiry and we'll discuss what works for you.
That program was developed specifically to address the financial complexity that comes with managing an ongoing health condition. The tone is quieter and the pace is slower. Participants are not expected to share personal health details — the focus stays on financial tools and planning approaches that adapt to variable circumstances.
