Our Programs
Three Programs, Each With Its Own Focus
Every program at Thiwa Sombat has a clear scope, a defined duration, and a teaching approach that suits the particular demands of its subject matter.

How We Teach
We use a discussion-led model. Each session opens with a question drawn from current news, a real document, or a scenario relevant to the program topic. Participants work through it together before we introduce the conceptual framework. This sequence — experience first, theory second — tends to produce more durable understanding than the reverse.
Step 1
Real-World Anchor
Each session begins with a document, article, or scenario from current Thai financial life.
Step 2
Discussion
Participants respond, question, and share their own experience before any formal teaching occurs.
Step 3
Framework & Takeaway
The facilitator introduces the conceptual framework, and participants leave with a written summary.
Program 1
Financial News Reading Course
Financial news is written for financial professionals, not general readers. This creates a gap — between what is published and what most adults can actually interpret. This course closes that gap by building practical skills for reading the financial press with accuracy and discernment.
Duration
2 half-day sessions
Group
Max 8 participants
Price
฿3,200
Program 2
Rental Income Management
Managing rental property in Thailand involves a surprisingly dense web of tax obligations, depreciation rules, tenant law, and maintenance planning. This program is for people who are already landlords, or seriously considering becoming one, and want to understand the financial mechanics — not just the general concept of owning property.
Duration
3 sessions / 2 weeks
Group
Max 8 participants
Price
฿7,800
Program 3
Chronic Illness Financial Adaptation
A long-term health condition changes the financial landscape in ways that standard planning frameworks rarely address. This program was built specifically for that context. The tone is quieter than our other programs, the pace is slower, and the space is designed to be safe for discussion of sensitive financial realities.
Duration
6 sessions / 1 month
Group
Max 8 participants
Price
฿14,400
